1. Good gas performance, low partial discharge value: in the transformer insulation structure, there will be some local insulation weaknesses, it will first discharge under the action of the electric field, without immediately forming the entire insulation penetration breakdown, it may occur on the surface or inside the insulator, that is, partial discharge. However, the destruction or local aging of electrical insulation mostly starts from partial discharge, and its hazards are highlighted in the rapid reduction of insulation life, which ultimately affects safe operation.
2. Strong lightning impact resistance: Because the high and low voltage windings are all wound with copper strip (foil), the voltage between the layers is low, the capacitance is large, and the starting voltage distribution of the foil winding is close to linear, so its lightning impact resistance is strong.
3. Strong resistance to short circuit: because the reactance height of the high and low voltage windings is the same, there is no helix angle phenomenon, the ampere turn balance between the coils, and the axial force caused by the short circuit of the high and low voltage windings is almost zero, so its short circuit resistance is strong.
